sunshine!

ya know how they say good times make you appreciate the bad?

i think it's the same with the weather.

if it weren't for those dreary months of rain, I doubt weather like we are having now would be so special.

but ya know how when it is raining, it's easier to say "okay, this will all be worth it, come one of those beautiful Pacific Northwest summer days..." and you suck it up and embrace the rain, knowing it will be over soon? Rent a movie and snuggle up on the coach?

i want to work on transferring that "weather" philosophy to life. When it's bad and "rainy", know that the sun will come, and it will be worth it.

just like it did today.

"he put a ring on it"

last weekend we trekked over to Lake Chelan to celebrate Mandy's last few weeks as a single lady.

i have heard stories of vacation rentals by owner.com going completely wrong.

not the case with us. it was sooooo cute :) loft included :)

went wine tasting and had dinner one night at a beautiful winery. this flight of wine, cheese and bread for $5!

so this are my cute sandals that I got from the Sam & Libby line at Target.

so after a few drinks at Senor Frogs and some dancing, a lady came up to me and asked if my shoes were Sam Edelman. I said, "No! I got them at Target. They are Sam & Libby!"

She asked me again and I was starting to get annoyed and said, "NO! They are Sam & Libby." I kept telling her, NO, NO, NO!  She so kindly informed me that Sam stands for Sam Edelman, it is his brand for Target. whoops.

did some mini-golfing.

sarah led us in a barre class one morning in our cute bridesmaid/bride tanktops :)

mandy is one of the most flexible people i know. ;) (right behind me and my dad) i don't think we can even come CLOSE to touching our toes...

after i dropped off my trust travel partner at the airport, i had a few hours to drive home by myself in the car. I think it was a mixture of being hot, tired, a tad hungover ;) and listening to sappy country music in the car, but I found myself tearing up thinking about my baby sister becoming a wife.
i was just so proud of her this weekend, and the woman that she is becoming. tyson is one lucky guy.

and then i made it home, safe and sound to my hubby :) who had even vacuumed the house for my arrival.

up next? a bridal shower :)
