Surprise Dining

Before this picture was taken, we had spent 3 hours at a restaurant in Seattle. All the reviews online said, "They kill you, and then you wake up in your bed." Like multiple people said that. Umm. Weird?!?!? This restaurant has maybe five tables, doesn't take reservations and doesn't seat more than four people in a group.

So this restaurant? You pay a price when you walk in the door ( a pricey little cost, I might add) and then the waiter asks if you are allergic to anything.

After that? He brings you whatever he wants to bring you. 5 courses of surprises :) Each course paired with a glass of wine or cocktail.

As in... I have no idea what I ate.

We are pretty sure we had some lamb and maybe some saki? :)

The point of this place is to not have any expectations of your food, and to enjoy the dining out experience.

and can you tell we enjoyed the experience? :) Especially the 6+ drinks ;) which might be why I thought it would be a good idea to wear sunglasses in the dark :)

check it out :)
