So football season is approaching. And dating someone who plays fantasy football has taught me a few things.
~Sometimes, we have to cheer for a team that is playing AGAINST the Seahawks if Drew has that player on his fantasy team.
~Sometimes, we have to miss some of the Seahawk game because we have to flip back and forth to another game if Drew's fantasy quarterback is playing.
If ya can't beat em, join them, right?
Big news. After much persuasion I have convinced Drew and Marcus to let me join their league this fall. They were asking me about my 'draft strategy' and so I told them who I wanted to draft.
First overall pick: Peyton Manning (who cares that he is gonna miss 1/4 of the season?)
OchoCinco (he has funny tweets)
Jake Locker, backup quarterback
Matt Hasselbeck. (35 years old can only mean experience, in my opinion)
Marshawn Lynch (anyone who has a nickname of "Beast Mode" has got to be good, right?)
The looks on their faces were a.m.a.z.i.n.g. Pure disgust. You would have thought I had told them that I just robbed a bank.
I love messing with them. They said if I draft my team "like this" I won't be invited back and I will be ruining things for the future generations of girl-fantasy-football-players.
So next weekend, I will be drafting my team. Any suggestions? Reggie Bush is pretttyyy cute, huh? :)
