How I Think About It

I feel like most all of the religions/belief systems in the world today have a general basis that says:

~our world is not really in it's best shape right now.
~corrupt things are happening.
~people do bad things.

the point of all of these religions then, is to make a framework, or a guideline that you must live within, in order to "be good."

This is all the stuff that is happening in the world.

The religion __________ says this, this and this is okay, but not this.

This other religion, _______, says that you must NOT do THAT, but anything in this direction is ok.

They try and make us become a specific/certain level of "perfect" to fight an imperfect world.

Once we get to that certain spot, we are good. Good to go. Heaven, whatever. Here we come.

Do you know what?

Jesus is the only one who knew we couldn't do it.

We are ALL going to fail. There is NO way we can do it. We can't be perfect.

So, God gave us his ONLY Son to SAVE us from this quest of perfection, because he knew IT IS IMPOSSIBLE.

It's not a matter of trying harder, or donating more money or attending more groups of praying more times every day.

There is NOTHING we can do to make the Big Guy up there love us any less. NOTHING.
Is that not AMAZING?

and there is no distinction we have to reach, no certain thing we have to have accomplished before such and such date.

and God KNEW that before we even had to try.

:)
