Three Things Tuesday!

1.) "Older" People Texting Code

Okay. This is so stupid. But then I couldn't stop giggling. Just the image of my dear ole granny in her bathrobe getting ready for the day texting her buddies is a funny image. (Love ya, Gram). I mean, I usually don't use stuff like LMAO or TTYL, but I will say I am guilty of like the bff, G2G texting abbreviations. This made me laugh.

BFF- best friend fell

ATD- at the doctor

BYOT- bring your own teeth

G2GPBL- got to go, pacemaker battery low

GHA- got heartburn again

FWIW- forgot where I was...

By no means am I making fun of the elderly, but I mean, how funny would it be if grandma's were texting and said "Sorry for not coming to lunch club, GHA. ;)

2.) COLLEGE GRADUATION!

Gotta shout out to the the college grad! Tyson (my sis's boyfriend since she was 15) graduated from UW this past weekend! The same day Mandy turned 21! Quite a weekend for the couple! Now they are in Arizona celebrating and living it up in the 100+ weather. :) Congratulations T; seems like just yesterday we were playing in rec PE :) Enjoy your trip, you two!

3.) Make-up Board

How many times do you get new makeup and then it just adds to the "pile" that is your makeup drawer and you forget all about it? Then one day you find it again and you are like, oh my gosh. I forgot all about that that bright purple eyeshadow :) . Just me? haha okay finneee. Okay. I will suck it up and show you my weekend project. But this means I can't back out :)

How absolutely AWESOME is this? It is a magnetic makeup board. You just get a magnetic board or magnetic paint, decorate and then attach those strips of magnetic tape to the back of all your makeup containers. Then you can see it all, and it's all right there and tidy. Annndd it frees up a drawer and instead takes up some vertical space.
