i have shared my birthday week with my baby sister since I was four.

one day apart, so we always had the joint birthday parties.

i used to hate it. it was so unfair.

the cake said, "happy birthday lindsay and mandy" or "l and m" if the costco cake decorator lady was running out of room.

the decorations from her special day would be left up, just interchanged with a different color ballon for mine :)

never worked. people never all agreed on the order of the names.


now? there is no one in this whole wide world that i would rather share the week with. :)

and this year? i have been blessed to see another side of my darling sister that I had never seen before. 

i know she is amazing and smart and pretty and kind and has a heart for the Lord but..

this sister of mine, is the world's best/most on top of things/feistiest maid-of-honor you will ever meet.

hahaha. don't mess with me, or you will have to mess with her. :)
