Dreamin' in the Furniture Section

Where did we spend a majority of our Sunday afternoon?

6, 13, 5, 30, 25, 5

My birthday <6-13>, Drew's birthday <5/30>, the age we are turning <25> and the number of birthdays we have spent together <5>.

Drew and I were having a lazy/boring afternoon and decided to spruce things up a bit. We decided to...buy a lotto ticket. hahaha we are super exciting around here :) We got the little slip to write our numbers, the cute little pencil and our redbox movie case for a hard surface to write on.

I was ready just to pick out the numbers right there at the counter, but Drew said we needed to go somewhere to harness our "chi" and really think about our numbers. For reals :)

Where was that? We sat on the comfy couches in the furniture section at Fred Meyers for a good hour picking our numbers. We each got to pick two sets, which was five regular numbers and then a SPECIAL number. I did our birthday dates, and then my other choice? Numbers that made an "L" shaped for my name. :)

Drew seriously spent 5 minutes on EACH of his numbers, and would give me the most disgusted looks when I would suggest a number. Eleven? Umm. NO. What a horrible choice Lindsay. 23? For Michael Jordan? Nope. He didn't like my reasons for why he should pick a number. He would just sit with his feet on the lovely leather ottoman (that was 15% off by the way) and stare into space, and then mark his number. It was hilarious.

I hope we win. :) Then maybe we could go back and buy the furniture set we permanently made butt-marks in :)
