The first few nights I would wake up coughing and not be able to stop for like 10 minutes. This would happen every hour or so. NOT FUN. Ya know, ya get that tickle in your throat and need to cough and then you can NOT stop?
I decided enough was enough and it was time for NyQuil. I looooove that stuff. I see how someone could become addicted. That feeling of almost being asleep and just drifting away? Soo nice. ;) So I try and not use NyQuil unless it's an absolute must.
The last two nights I have slept over 11 hours and haven't woken up once during the night with the help of the trusty ole cough syrup.
Sometime during the night, this also happened.
The kinda weird thing? This has been the scene in the morning BOTH NIGHTS I HAVE TAKEN THE MAGIC COUGH SYRUP.
Do I hear my nightstand fall over against the wall, the lamp hit my chair and my alarm clock fly across the room? Nope. Do I notice the fact that all my pillows are on the floor? Nope.
Weird.
